The Secrets of Beauty

In everyday life, people always try their best to look young and beautiful. Due to the fact that the first impression is always important and lasting, people always attempt to present their very best in terms of appearance.

To achieve that, some people choose to keep their weight in control by going on diet and some will choose the more expensive path of cosmetic surgery. There are reports that the beauty industry is worth millions and millions of dollars and it is quite true. Look at those people who paid thousands of dollar without second thought for their facial treatment, health product, hairstylist or even personal trainer for their fitness, you won’t be surprise how much it worth for the industry.

But, is there really a need to spend money in order to look good and gorgeous? No, really. It is not necessary because there are ways to look good.

It depends on how you live your life.

If you are used to night life, heavy smoker, consume heavy alcohol, unhealthy diet, then, it is quite likely that you won’t look good at all. Why? It is because these are things that will affect you heavily. With a night life, your skin will be dry as you are not exposed to the normal sunshine. You are also likely to have dark eye circles, listless and get tired easily.

Don’t believe?

Look around those beside you who don’t smoke, drink and eat healthy diet, you should see a lot of differences. These people have proper day-night routine and they will definitely look better.

Try out and see if it made some differences to you.

American Idol Season Seven – Recap

Finally, after nineteen weeks of watching American Idol, it comes to the end with David Cook taking the title, beating David Archuleta in the final.

Like the past few seasons, one of the most common talking point in this season American Idol, was the eliminations. There are many surprise eliminations and it had been discuss extensively in many idol forums. People simply cannot understand why some contestants that sing and perform better are being vote out earlier.

The shock elimination started with Josiah Lemming. Here we have was a kid who lived in a car and hoping to change his life and boy, he got a great voice and I thought his elimination was a big surprise in the earlier round.

The next up was Asia’h Epperson and Danny Noriega. Till today, I still can’t figure out why they are being eliminated. I thought they are better than Kristy Lee and David Hernandez. Then we also have Amanda Overmyer moving aside. How about Carly Smithson and Michael Johns?

And on those who make it, Jason Castro and Syesha come as the biggest surprise to me. I don’t foresee that they can move into the top four, but, they did it. How, I really don’t know.

As for the winner, David Cook, I think he is obviously the best in the last four and I am glad that he won it. I think he was very talented and the market should react well to his album.

All in all this wasn’t a bad year. Besides David Cook, I think there are a few idols that I feel are quite talented and should do well in music industry, people like Carly Smithson, Michael Johns and Asia’h Epperson. However, just like the past few seasons, we also see too many talented idols got voted out much earlier. It is something that worth pondering, should there be some changes made to the voting system?

In a recent article, Simon Cowell, one of the 3 judges on the show drops some hints that there might be an overhaul of the show and with the American Idol ratings experiences steep declines this season, this might be an indication that people are just tired of seeing the same show year in year out.

Maybe it is time to make the changes.
